ABOUT US

Terrific Teeth is Pittsburgh's premier pediatric laser dentistry for kids. As dental specialists, pediatric dentists Dr. Kelly Lewis and Dr. Casey Lally treat children from birth through college. They are also trained to provide dental care to patients of all ages who have special healthcare needs. Terrific Teeth also has an in-house orthodontist, Dr. Gregory Sencak. Dr. Sencak and his team use cutting-edge technology to treat patients of all ages, specializing in Invisalign, clear braces, metal braces, and palatal expanders. When patients need a deeper level of sedation, Dr. Nicholas Lang provides in-office anesthesia which provides a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and their parents.

Our pediatric dentists receive advanced training in dentistry for kids. Fun fact: 100% of pediatric dentists are dentists. However, only 3.5% of dentists receive specialty training to become pediatric dentists. Both types of dentists are “doctors of the mouth” who focus on patients’ oral care. However, for a dentist to become a pediatric dentist, one must continue his or her education for a minimum of two years beyond dental school. This additional training focuses on preventative oral care, making dentistry relatable to children, and stresses an individual’s sustainable oral health. A pediatric dentist is skilled in a broad range of treatment techniques to safely and effectively treat children. Our doctors are not only pediatric dental specialist, they are also laser dentists who specialize in restorative care using the Solea all-tissue laser.

Like our pediatric dentists Dr. Kelly and Dr. Casey our orthodontist Dr. Sencak also received specialized training. Given the age when most people undergo orthodontia, having an orthodontist and pediatric dentist under one roof provides continuity of care, resulting in the most efficient treatment and beneficial outcome for our patients. For children and adult community members seeking orthodontia but aren't patients of Terrific Teeth, our orthodontist can help you look and feel your best!

Our dentists are proud to serve Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities. Patients and their parents looking for a caring and compassionate pediatric dentist and orthodontist come from as close as Robinson Township, Moon, Imperial, McDonald and the entire West Hills, to the South Hills, North Hills, Eastern Suburbs, Ohio River Valley and beyond to include the counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Westmoreland, Washington, Fayette, Greene – and even Ohio and West Virginia!
